Changwon Mayor Heo Seong-mu Attends 'Seafood Drive-Thru Special Sale Event'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City announced on the 14th that Mayor Heo Seong-mu attended the 'Seafood Drive-Thru Special Sale Event' at Jinhae Fisheries Cooperative to promote consumption and secure sales channels.

This special sale event was held over two days from the 13th to the 14th at Jinhae Fisheries Cooperative.

To minimize face-to-face contact, citizens could purchase seafood by driving their vehicles directly. The items for sale included Jeju-produced hairtail, octopus, sea squirts, and others, available at prices relatively lower than the market price.

Mayor Heo stated, “As Jinhae Fisheries Cooperative strives to revitalize seafood consumption, the city will also take the lead in overcoming the difficulties faced by fishermen by exploring various ways to expand consumption.”
