Suncheon-si Conducts Training to Strengthen Competitiveness of Food Service Businesses Overcoming COVID-19

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) will conduct the 'COVID-19 Overcoming Dining Industry Competitiveness Enhancement Training' on the 18th at the Culture and Health Center Multipurpose Hall.

This training is prepared so that Suncheon dining businesses can proactively respond to the post-COVID-19 era by focusing on improving untact management capabilities such as Home Meal Replacement (HMR), meal kits, and shop-in-shop, anticipating significant changes centered on non-face-to-face services in the dining industry due to COVID-19.

Starting with a lecture on the theme of 'Changes in the COVID-19 Dining Market,' the theoretical learning will be conducted over a total of seven sessions until September 11. About 40 dining business owners representing Suncheon will lead innovation in the dining industry through specialized lectures on overcoming the 2020 dining industry recession, untact success strategies, untact restaurant marketing, and service fields.

A Suncheon City official stated, "Through this training, we hope to foster untact dining management skills that have felt unfamiliar until now, secure differentiated food tourism competitiveness unique to Suncheon City, and turn the crisis of the post-COVID-19 era into an opportunity."
