[Profile] Park Jun-young, New Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries... "Personnel and Planning Expert"

[Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Park Jun-young, appointed as Vice Minister of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries on the 14th, is regarded as an expert in personnel and planning fields.


Park, a graduate of Korea University’s Department of Public Administration, began his public service career in 1992 as the 35th Administrative Examination pass.


He has worked at the Korea Maritime and Port Authority, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ Fisheries Development Bureau, Aquaculture Division, and Maritime Logistics Bureau. He has gained experience in various fields including Director of Marine Environment, Legal Affairs Officer, Director of Fisheries Negotiations, Innovation Personnel Planning Officer, Director of Fishing Village and Aquaculture Policy, and Spokesperson. He is especially recognized as an expert in personnel, planning, and fisheries sectors.
