[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 14th that its cardiovascular disease-specialized insurance product, 'Healthy Heart Care Insurance,' has obtained exclusive usage rights.
The company established a new special rider covering five major vascular diseases, including atherosclerosis and pulmonary embolism, expanding the existing vascular-related coverage that was focused on the heart and brain. The cardiovascular disease diagnosis rider expanded its coverage from acute myocardial infarction and ischemic heart disease to include arrhythmia, heart failure, and cardiac arrest, enhancing customer benefits and demonstrating advancement.
Healthy Heart Care Insurance is a product that systematically covers risks by considering the characteristics of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, from prevention to diagnosis, treatment (hospitalization and surgery), rehabilitation, and disability, rather than focusing solely on diagnosis and surgery.
