According to Gwangju City, the 219th patient traveled on KTX train No. 527, car 1, from Yongsan to Gwangju Songjeong on the 9th from 7:40 PM to 9:30 PM, and then used the subway from Gwangju Songjeong Station to Dolgyogae Station. It was confirmed that the patient was wearing a mask at that time.
However, it was confirmed that from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM between the 10th and 12th, the patient visited a Korean buffet restaurant in Seo-gu without wearing a mask. The buffet has been disinfected. The 219th patient was confirmed positive on the 13th.
Additionally, on the same day, Gwangju City announced that a man in his 50s, who was previously on hold for confirmation on the 11th, would be registered as the 220th confirmed case in Gwangju.
The 220th patient tested positive in the first test conducted by a private entrusted institution, but tested negative in the second test by the Gwangju Health and Environment Research Institute, so confirmation was initially put on hold. However, after a third test was conducted, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency registered him as the 220th confirmed case in Gwangju on the 14th.
