A senior Blue House official told reporters on the 13th that the resignation letters of Chief of Staff Noh Young-min and Senior Secretary for Personnel Affairs Kim Oe-sook have been rejected. "You can consider that the personnel appointments above the senior secretary level at the Blue House have been finalized," the official said.

They offered their resignations to take responsibility for political setbacks such as real estate controversies and declining public approval ratings, and a replacement of key aides including Chief of Staff Noh Young-min was expected.
