Pohang City Theater Company's 182nd Regular Performance is 'Yuranggeukdan' ... Limited to 50 Seats

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] The Pohang City Theater Company announced on the 13th that it will stage its 182nd regular performance, "Yuranggeukdan" (original work by Ryubomir Simovich, adapted by Somin, directed by Kim Hayoung), at the Pohang City Central Art Hall from the 20th to the 23rd.

While the original work "Shopalovich Yuranggeukdan" is set against the backdrop of World War II, Pohang City Theater Company's "Yuranggeukdan" is adapted to an uncertain era marked by war and rampant infectious diseases. It tells the story of people living as humans in a ruined city where hope has disappeared.

Guest director Kim Hayoung said, "The reason for staging this play in the current era is the conviction that people who do not turn away from the world and have dreams will create new paths," adding, "Humans are beings who must not lose 'affection for others,' and this play was a work dreaming beyond the gray."

The "Yuranggeukdan" performances start at 7:30 PM on weekdays and 4:00 PM on weekends. It is suitable for viewers aged middle school and above. Applying the 'social distancing in daily life' seating arrangement with spaced seats, the number of viewers per day is limited to 50. Admission fee is 5,000 won.
