Flood Damage Area Visit Service Until the End of Next Month

Daedong Industrial agricultural machinery service expert is connecting a diagnostic device to a combine harvester to check its operating status.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Daedong Industrial announced on the 13th that it will provide free repair services for flood-damaged agricultural machinery in the affected areas until the end of next month.

The free service applies to tractors, combines, and rice transplanters produced and sold by Daedong Industrial. If the machinery is damaged due to flooding, customers can request service at one of Daedong Industrial's 8 regional headquarters or 150 local dealerships.

Daedong Industrial's agricultural machinery service experts will visit farms directly to conduct free inspections and will replace engine oil, filters, and batteries free of charge for flood-damaged machinery. Models that are difficult to repair on-site will be brought to dealerships or regional headquarters for repair.

For those not enrolled in the comprehensive agricultural machinery insurance, up to 50% of the repair costs (up to 1 million KRW) will be discounted. Additionally, farmers who receive a flood damage unusable judgment and repurchase Daedong Industrial products will receive purchase cost support from the headquarters, varying according to the age of their owned products.
