Lotte Outlet Gwangju World Cup Branch Holds 'Home Appliance and Furniture Expo'

In collaboration with Hi-Mart, large home appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines will be sold at up to 20% discounted prices, and Italian Home sofas will be offered at promotional prices.


Customers preparing for moving and newlywed necessities usually purchase related products including home appliances about two months in advance and specify delivery dates. Therefore, Lotte Outlet Gwangju World Cup Branch aims to capture related demand through this event.


Additionally, due to heavy rains and the longest rainy season on record, sales of dehumidifiers in August have more than doubled compared to the previous year. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration’s forecast of 2 to 3 super typhoons occurring by October, reasonably priced dehumidifiers will also be available for customers planning to purchase them.


First, Samsung Electronics’ Bespoke 4-door refrigerator is priced in the 2.5 million KRW range, Q LED 75-inch TV in the 4.1 million KRW range, AirDresser in the 1.8 million KRW range, and Wind-Free Cube air purifier in the 900,000 KRW range.


Along with this, LG Electronics’ 4-door double-door refrigerator is priced in the 2.5 million KRW range, OLED 65-inch TV in the 3.1 million KRW range, AI 24kg drum washing machine in the 1.4 million KRW range, and Dual Heat 2-in-1 air conditioner for 18 pyeong in the 1.8 million KRW range.


Also, Italian Home’s Terra 4-seater sofa is priced at 3.89 million KRW, Lecce 4-seater sofa at 1.69 million KRW, and Capri 4-seater sofa at 2.09 million KRW, all offered at up to 50% special discount prices.


Dehumidifiers, essential during the rainy season, are sold in various models: Winix 17ℓ at 439,000 KRW, 19ℓ at 549,000 KRW, Winia 16ℓ at 409,000 KRW, Shinil 23ℓ at 329,000 KRW, and Carrier 16ℓ at 249,000 KRW.


In addition, from the 14th to the 16th, 100 units of 10 selected items will be sold at ultra-discounted prices on a first-come, first-served basis.


Representative items include Tefal coffee makers at 25,900 KRW, Profico air fryers at 58,900 KRW, Hi-Made microwaves at 49,900 KRW, and Philips electric shavers at 59,900 KRW, each limited to 10 units during the period.


During the event, customers purchasing two or more items (applicable models only) from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will receive up to 700,000 KRW cashback benefits via affiliated cards. Additionally, purchasing designated TV models from Samsung and LG and trading in used TVs will earn extra L Points.


Customers who purchase furniture worth over 1 million KRW will receive Lotte gift certificates worth approximately 3%, among other various benefits.


Yang Nam-gyun, manager of Lotte Outlet Gwangju World Cup Branch, said, “Due to the impact of COVID-19, spring moving decreased, so we expect moving demand to increase this coming autumn. This event will be an opportunity to meet various products needed for moving and newlyweds with diverse benefits.”
