[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Users are experiencing inconvenience due to an error in Naver's simple payment service, 'Naver Pay.'
The Naver Pay error began around 11:40 AM on the 12th. Currently, when accessing the Naver Pay page, users see a message saying "Service under maintenance," and financial services such as payment, charging, and withdrawal are unavailable.
Naver announced that it will conduct a database (DB) inspection until 4 PM.
Previously, Naver Pay also experienced a temporary service disruption lasting about two hours on the 8th.
A Naver representative stated, "We are checking the detailed cause of the issue" and added, "We will restore the service as soon as possible."
