'Sookmyung Girls' High School twins involved in exam paper leak sentenced to 1 year 6 months in prison with probation in first trial'

[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] Twin sisters who were prosecuted for taking exams after receiving the answer keys for regular school tests from their father, the former head of the academic affairs department at Sookmyung Girls' High School, were sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison with a 3-year probation.


On the 12th, at the sentencing hearing held by Judge Song Seunghun of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 12, the twin sisters, who were prosecuted for obstruction of business, were given this sentence.


At the previous sentencing hearing, the prosecution requested a short-term imprisonment of 2 years and a long-term imprisonment of 3 years. Hyun Mo, the former head of the academic affairs department at Sookmyung Girls' High School, was confirmed to a 3-year prison sentence by the Supreme Court in March and is currently incarcerated.
