[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation, which produces and sells Jeju Samdasoo, announced on the 12th that it has partnered with Kakao IX, the operator of the 'national character' Kakao Friends, to launch the 'Jeju Samdasoo x Kakao Friends Camping Edition.'
Jeju Samdasoo signed a business agreement with Kakao IX in 2018 and has been releasing seasonal 'Kakao Friends Editions,' delivering a friendly and cheerful brand story that has gained popularity among the younger generation.
This 'Camping Edition' was planned considering the camping trend of enjoying nature as it is, featuring Kakao Friends' representative characters such as Ryan, Jay-G, Muzi, and Frodo enjoying camping in different ways on the Samdasoo labels.
The 'Jeju Samdasoo x Kakao Friends Camping Edition,' sold at major supermarkets nationwide, is released in a small and lightweight 330ml size, making it suitable for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, trekking, as well as for carrying on short outings.
