CJ Logistics Gifts Summer Health Sets to Over 30,000 Delivery Workers on 'No Delivery Day'

Delivery Mutual Growth Committee "Strong Network Among Workers Essential in Delivery Industry"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] CJ Logistics Delivery Win-Win Committee announced on the 12th that it will deliver Boknal sets to everyone working in the delivery industry in celebration of the upcoming "Delivery-Free Day (Delivery Family Refresh Day)" on the 14th.

Accordingly, CJ Logistics Delivery Win-Win Committee will deliver Boknal sets consisting of Samgyetang, Korean beef bone soup, mung bean chicken porridge, and bulnak porridge to about 34,000 delivery workers nationwide on the 13th, including delivery drivers, branch offices, transportation trunk companies, and manpower subcontractors.

Earlier, the Korea Integrated Logistics Association designated the 14th as the official delivery holiday, and four companies affiliated with the association, including CJ Logistics, Hanjin Co., Ltd., Lotte Global Logistics, and Logen Delivery, agreed to participate.

The CJ Logistics Delivery Win-Win Committee was established last November with the purpose of promoting mutual growth through close cooperation among five main entities leading the delivery industry: delivery drivers, branch offices, transportation trunk companies, manpower subcontractors, and others. Representatives elected from each entity hold a standing committee meeting every quarter to discuss the current status and development directions of the delivery industry.

The committee explained that the delivery industry is a business structure that requires building a network among delivery workers, necessitating close communication and cooperation among all members.

A CJ Logistics Delivery Win-Win Committee official stated, "As the delivery industry emerges as an important sector in the non-face-to-face era, building strong relationships and active cooperation among workers is becoming increasingly important. On the occasion of this Delivery Family Refresh Day, we hope that the three days of rest and recharging time will make the steps of delivery workers a little lighter."
