3-Day Toy Rental Service and 1:1 Parenting Counseling Launched... Child Abuse Prevention, Daycare Consulting, and Childcare Staff Training to Resume on the 17th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) has partially resumed the operation of infant and toddler childcare facilities that were temporarily halted due to COVID-19.
The Seongbuk-gu Childcare Support Center and SB Toy Library are representative examples.
On the 3rd, Seongbuk-gu began the toy rental service and 1:1 parenting counseling in accordance with the public sector facility operation allowance plan in the metropolitan area.
From the 17th, child abuse prevention projects (individual counseling and group counseling for up to 8 people), daycare center consulting projects, and childcare staff training (including online education) will be resumed.
Previously, Seongbuk-gu equipped the Seongbuk-gu Childcare Support Center with AI facial recognition temperature measurement cameras to fully prepare for quarantine measures for residents visiting infant and toddler facilities and to prevent the spread of community infections.
A Seongbuk-gu official stated, “We plan to operate strictly following detailed guidelines for social distancing in daily life, such as disinfecting workplaces more than twice a day, limiting the number of users, and adhering to personal hygiene rules.”
Center users must authenticate their entry using a QR code-based electronic entry log, undergo temperature checks, and wear masks to use the facilities.
For more detailed information about usage, please check the Seongbuk-gu Childcare Support Center website or contact them by phone.
