Providing Video Content on AI Introduction, Business, and Technology
Saltlux CEO Lee Kyung-il Also Hosts Untact Seminar
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The industry-academia-research AI collaboration group AI One Team, which includes KT, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, and LG Electronics, will hold an "AI Study Week" for two weeks from the 10th to the 21st, providing various online learning video contents.
AI One Team is a collaborative body formed in February to strengthen domestic AI capabilities. Its goals are to establish a talent development platform, enhance inter-industry collaboration to discover and spread AI application cases in actual industrial sites, and create an AI open ecosystem that allows participation from small and venture companies. Participants in AI One Team include Hanyang University, KAIST, ETRI, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, LG Electronics, LG Uplus, Korea Investment & Securities, and KT.
As AI is an essential element in fostering the 4th Industrial Revolution, the importance of cultivating AI specialists has also increased. Accordingly, AI One Team provides various video contents to enhance understanding of AI. These consist of KT-produced content, untact live seminars, and excellent external open content.
KT has produced and is providing five mini-lecture contents to help understand AI. These contents were originally planned for KT employees but are now publicly released so that more people can develop interest in and learn about AI.
The untact seminar, titled "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business," will be delivered by Lee Kyung-il, CEO of Saltlux. Saltlux holds the largest number of AI-related patents in Korea, and anyone interested in AI business can participate. The seminar will be broadcast live on KT's official YouTube channel at 4 p.m. on August 18.
AI One Team curates excellent free content publicly available on YouTube and other platforms into three themes: AI Introduction, AI Biz, and AI Technology. Additionally, AI One Team has produced the content "AI Study Tips from Experts," introducing effective ways for beginners to learn AI.
AI One Team plans to continuously provide content to expand the domestic AI base while also promoting the cultivation of practical talent needed by companies. They plan to expand AI One Team's educational programs throughout the domestic ecosystem. The AI Study Week learning video contents are available on KT's Public Relations Office blog "Gwanghwamun Exit 2" and the AI One Team website.
The AI One Team Secretariat stated, "To expand the domestic AI base, following the previous AI book recommendations, AI One Team is joining forces to hold the 'AI Study Week.' We will take the lead because having more people interested in and understanding AI is the driving force to becoming the number one AI nation."
