Sangju City Changes 'Urban Brand Slogan' for the First Time in 10 Years ... Nationwide Public Contest

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk announced on the 10th that it will hold a contest for a new 'city brand slogan' until the 30th.


This contest is a project to replace the regional brand slogan 'Just Sangju,' which has been used since its development through a service in 2009. This brand has been criticized for being ambiguous and failing to reflect the local identity.


The city brand slogan should represent Sangju City's identity and its past, present, and future, expressed in an easy-to-remember and concise word or phrase within 10 characters. The selected work in the contest will undergo design development by a professional design company and be finalized as the official city brand slogan.


For the selected slogans, prizes will be awarded in local love gift certificates: Gold Prize (1 person) 1,000,000 KRW, Silver Prize (1 person) 500,000 KRW, Bronze Prize (2 people) 300,000 KRW each, and Excellence Prize (2 people) 200,000 KRW each.
