[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A man in his 20s, a karaoke room employee (Mr. A) in Gijang-gun, Busan, was found dead after falling from a car elevator, and the police have launched an investigation.
According to the Gijang Police Station in Busan on the 10th, a 112 report was received at around 12:04 a.m. on the 10th, stating that Mr. A, an employee at a four-story karaoke building in Jeonggwan-eup, had gone out to throw away trash and had been missing for six hours since around 6 p.m. on the 9th.
The responding police, while searching the area and analyzing CCTV footage, found Mr. A dead on the floor of the car lift at around 2:15 a.m. that day.
The police are investigating the exact cause, believing that Mr. A used the fifth-floor car elevator to dispose of trash in the first-floor trash collection area after the passenger elevator broke down and fell.
