Dogong Geochang Rest Area (Daegu Direction), 'MFDS Evaluation' Korean, Western, and Udon Corners Rated 'Excellent'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Korea Expressway Corporation's Geochang Rest Area on the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway (Daegu direction) announced on the 9th that all corners of the restaurant area received the 'Excellent' certification in the restaurant hygiene rating system conducted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety operates a hygiene rating system for food service establishments at rest areas nationwide. The Geochang Rest Area in the Daegu direction has thoroughly managed all processes of food preparation and distribution, including hygiene management of cooking staff at each corner?Korean cuisine, Western cuisine, and udon?as well as food cooking and raw material intake.

A rest area official stated, "We will not be satisfied with this excellent hygiene rating and will strive even more diligently to maintain systematic food safety management and upkeep."
