[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Myeong Hyun-gwan) announced on the 9th that it will hold the Terracotta Happiness Exhibition "A Family's Life" special exhibition at the Haenam Dinosaur Museum Planning Exhibition Hall from the 1st of this month to the 9th of next month.

This exhibition showcases about 32 terracotta creations by artist Kwon Sumi, who is actively working in Haenam.

Terracotta is a work made by shaping clay, drying, and firing it. Artist Kwon presents various terracotta works under the theme of happiness in everyday life.

The exhibition expresses various moments of happiness that people feel throughout their lives, such as parental love, the excitement of romance, dreams in youth, and companionship in old age.

The artist conveys special yet simple stories by embedding memories accumulated over time and future happiness and expectations into the medium of clay.

A Haenam-gun official said, "This exhibition expresses emotions that most families have experienced or felt, as well as happiness that is likely to exist in the future," adding, "Happiness is not far away but closest to us. We hope this exhibition delivers this message and becomes an opportunity to overcome tiring and difficult times well."
