[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Kim Kwang-soo, Chairman of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, has taken action to support the recovery from heavy rain damage along with employees.


On the 9th, NH Nonghyup Financial announced that Chairman Kim, Non-executive Director Jeong Jae-young, and about 50 volunteer employees visited a flower farm in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province, which has been struggling due to flood damage on the 7th, to provide recovery support.


Chairman Kim personally visited farms urgently needing labor due to damage from the heavy rain, sharing the pain caused by the flood with farmers through activities such as repairing damaged facilities, carrying flowerpots, and maintaining greenhouse environments, while also listening to their difficulties.


Chairman Kim said, "It is very regrettable that farms have suffered great damage due to heavy rain during the vacation season," and added, "All employees of Nonghyup Financial will unite and spare no effort to provide active support necessary to overcome the damage caused by the heavy rain."


Nonghyup Financial stated that it plans to carry out various activities to overcome the heavy rain damage, including financial support for recovery and helping with labor, together with all its subsidiaries such as banking, life insurance, non-life insurance, and securities.
