New Ice Water Purifier 'Quming The Ice' Producing Cold Water, Hot Water, Purified Water, and Ice Directly
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Hyundai Rental Care is launching a direct water-type ice water purifier to target the peak rental season in summer. Hyundai Rental Care, a home care company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced on the 9th that it will release a new ice water purifier model, 'Quming The Ice,' with enhanced hygiene management features.
Quming The Ice is a direct water-type ice water purifier that produces cold water, hot water, purified water, and ice all through direct water flow. According to Hyundai Rental Care, making ice with direct water significantly reduces the risk of bacterial growth compared to products that make ice using water stored in a tank.
In particular, it features an 'automatic UV LED care function' that prevents the growth of bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. It also applies a '24-hour automatic clean system' that empties the entire water flow path once a day to prevent water stagnation, and the faucet and ice outlet are designed to be detachable so consumers can easily clean and maintain them.
The product uses 'stainless steel,' which is resistant to contamination and corrosion, for the ice-making rod, cold water direct pipe, and exterior. It also applies a 'swing ice-making system' that generates fine vibrations to remove air bubbles before the ice freezes, enabling the production of hard and transparent ice. The monthly rental fee for this product is 45,900 KRW based on a mandatory usage period of 36 months. Jung Yoon-jong, Executive Director of Sales Planning at Hyundai Rental Care, said, "In the future, we plan to diversify our product portfolio by launching various new products reflecting consumer needs, not only traditional rental products such as water purifiers and air purifiers."
