COVID-19 Confirmed Case in Resident of Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that one additional COVID-19 confirmed case occurred on the 8th.

Eunpyeong case number 67 (Jingwan-dong) visited the Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 7th for testing and was confirmed positive around 9:30 AM on the 8th. The patient has been transferred to Seonam Hospital.

The confirmed patient's residence has been disinfected, and detailed movement routes will be disclosed on the Eunpyeong-gu Office website once the epidemiological investigation results are available.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, "We recognize this as a very concerning situation as COVID-19 infections continue to occur. We ask residents to strictly maintain personal hygiene and, despite the heat, to wear masks thoroughly to prevent the spread of COVID-19."
