[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] From the 20th to the 26th, real-time video college admission counseling will be conducted in preparation for the 2021 academic year early admission process.
The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 9th that it will provide such counseling to about 1,000 test-takers and parents, including graduates from Seoul and current high school seniors.
Teachers belonging to the University Admission Guidance Support Team of the Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct one-on-one counseling, and the existing face-to-face counseling method will be converted to a non-face-to-face method. Test-takers can receive customized career guidance tailored to their aptitudes and capabilities.
For early admission counseling, it is important to accurately understand the counselor's academic and extracurricular information, so counseling will be conducted by receiving the counselor's information in advance with their consent to provide materials. Personal information is not stored on the server and is immediately discarded after counseling.
Separate counseling related to music, art, physical education, and specialized high schools will also be operated during this counseling.
Online reservations for real-time video counseling can be made from 10:00 AM on the 10th until the 16th on the counseling reservation website. If unable to make a reservation, one can apply for online counseling operated year-round at the Seoul Career and Admission Information Center.
