The members had planned to participate in the joint speech meeting of the Democratic Party of Korea's Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeonnam Provincial Party Executive Committee and the party leader and supreme council members, but it was canceled due to heavy rain, so they visited their former workplace, Jeonnam Provincial Office.

Earlier, they intended to visit the landslide site in Gokseong directly, but upon hearing that the road was blocked due to heavy rain, they visited the Jeonnam Provincial Office and the 119 Situation Room instead.
