Gangdong-gu, 2021 Academic Year Online Early Admission Mock Interview

On the 15th and 22nd, mock interviews for early admission will be conducted online... Admission officers from 8 universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi will participate as interviewers

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) will operate the ‘2021 Online Early Admission Mock Interview’ with university admissions officers on the 15th and 22nd.

This program was prepared by the district to provide mock interview opportunities to examinees who may be vulnerable in preparing for early admissions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting the smooth progress of the 2021 university entrance process.

The online mock interviews will be held on the 15th and 22nd, divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with eight current admissions officers from Soongsil University, Myongji University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul Women’s University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Kwangwoon University, Sejong University, and Catholic University serving as interviewers.

For this mock interview, the interviewers will review the students’ submitted school records and self-introduction letters in advance, then conduct a one-on-one individual mock interview within 9 minutes using the video conferencing app ZOOM at Gangdong e-Studio (3D virtual studio), providing tailored feedback to the examinees.

Additionally, Gangdong-gu is conducting the online mock interviews in collaboration with Seoul Women’s University, which has extensive know-how in university entrance interviews. Mock interview participants are expected to gain various information related to early admissions, including the blind interview manual provided by Seoul Women’s University.

Examinees who wish to participate can apply through the Gangdong-gu Self-Directed Learning Support Center website by the 9th, with a recruitment limit of 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each participant can apply for only one university, and those selected for the mock interview must submit interview materials such as school records via email to the person in charge or to the Gangdong-gu Self-Directed Learning Support Center.
