Spokesperson Heo added, "Additional support for livelihood stabilization and emergency relief has become possible," and urged, "Authorities and local governments should concentrate all their capabilities to ensure swift execution so that the effects can be realized."
United Future Party spokesperson Kim Eun-hye also said, "There can be no distinction between ruling and opposition parties in the face of the nation's disaster," and expressed hope that "livelihood stabilization costs and recovery support will be promptly provided so that the affected residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Spokesperson Kim emphasized, "Besides the areas declared today, there are many places with severe damage," and urged, "The government should also consider additional declarations to ensure no areas are neglected."
People's Party spokesperson Ahn Hye-jin called it a "natural measure," stating, "The administrative power of the relevant local governments must be fully mobilized to carefully inspect so that no areas remain unassessed, and the procedures for swift execution should be accelerated."
