U+ Smart Home Pet Care, launched by LG U+ (LG Uplus), is a service released last year. Upon subscription, it provides three items: a pet-exclusive CCTV called ‘Mamca,’ a dog robot toy called ‘Snack Robot,’ and a remotely controllable ‘Mood Light.’ It also offers various free benefits such as pet liability insurance from DB Insurance and family photo shoots with pets. It is highly popular among the ‘PamPet’ community for effectively caring for pets.
‘Mamca,’ which is loved for its cat CCTV and dog CCTV features, is a smart pet-exclusive AI CCTV that allows real-time observation and behavior analysis of pets. It is designed to rotate 360 degrees up, down, left, and right so that every corner of the house can be checked even when the owner is away. It has a sound detection function that sends notifications to the mobile phone when the pet barks to find its owner. It also has a talk-back feature that lets pets hear their owner’s voice. It can care for the psychological health of pets with separation anxiety throughout the day. When the interest area detection function (setting prohibited areas, food bowl, and potty pad zones) is enabled, it can analyze the pet’s behavior patterns and check if the pet has entered dangerous areas such as the kitchen. The number of times the area is detected is automatically recorded, making it easy to create a health record diary for the pet.
The dog robot toy ‘Snack Robot,’ provided together, is also popular. It acts like a playmate that adds vitality to the pet’s boring life. Meanwhile, U+ Smart Home Pet Care gains trust with Kang Hyung-wook, widely known as the ‘Dog President’ and MC of the show Dogs Are Great, serving as its ambassador.
