Korea Maritime University Introduces 'AI Interview Program' Service

E-Smart AI Interview Program, Experience Real Interview Simulation Without Time and Space Constraints

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Korea Maritime and Ocean University announced on the 7th that it has introduced the ‘E-Smart AI Interview Program’ service to proactively respond to changes in the job market environment caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The E-Smart AI Interview Program provided by the Korea Maritime and Ocean University Marine Future Talent Development Institute supports experiencing interview simulations similar to real ones without restrictions of time and space.

Additionally, this interview program virtually conducts various interview situations including basic interviews, personality assessments, situational responses, AI games, and in-depth interviews, and provides feedback based on facial expression, vocabulary, and voice analysis.

It plans to maximize the program’s effectiveness by providing students with interview videos and two types of customized evaluation reports.

Kim Su-ho, a student at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, said, “Receiving feedback on facial expressions, gestures, pronunciation, language used, and answer content was a great help in preparing for employment.”

Kim Jun-young, director of the Marine Future Talent Development Institute at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, said, “We expect that the introduction of the interview program service tailored to the trend of expanding non-face-to-face recruitment will strengthen students’ employment capabilities and increase employment rates.”
