[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced on the 7th the test locations for the "2020 2nd Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination" to be held on the 22nd.
The test sites include a total of 19 locations: 11 schools in southern Suwon, 5 schools in northern Uijeongbu, and 3 self-administered test centers.
The three self-administered test centers are Gobong Middle and High School, Anyang Prison, and Somang Prison, established for juvenile detainees and incarcerated examinees.
Examinees can check their test locations and important notes on the Gyeonggi Office of Education website (www.goe.go.kr).
Examinees must carefully review the test-related guidelines recently announced by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters and bring their ID, admission ticket, and a computer-use sign pen to enter the designated test room by 8:20 a.m. on the test day.
Acceptable forms of ID include resident registration card, driver's license, Republic of Korea passport, youth ID, and disability registration card containing the resident registration number.
If an admission ticket is lost, examinees can receive a replacement by submitting one photo used in the application along with their ID at the test headquarters on the test day.
Those under self-quarantine are not allowed to enter general test sites. Additionally, examinees who applied in advance between the 10th and 18th and are under self-quarantine may take the exam at a separate test site after receiving clearance from the local health center. The separate test site will be individually notified to the examinees.
