Content Planning and Posting Focused on Yeongdeungpo Medical Tourism... Applications Close on the 13th... Capacity-Building Training, Fam Tours, and Activity Fees Provided to Promote Medical Tourism
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) is recruiting the ‘Smart Medical Special Zone SNS Supporters’ until the 13th of this month to widely promote differentiated medical services and tourism information domestically and internationally, and to strengthen online communication using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
The district expects that by posting medical tourism content reflecting the perspective of consumers on various SNS platforms with strong promotional influence, public interest and participation in the Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone will further expand.
Selected SNS supporters will mainly engage in various promotional activities for the Smart Medical Special Zone, including ▲posting content related to Yeongdeungpo medical tourism in a second language other than Korean on SNS platforms ▲sharing, liking, and commenting on official SNS posts of the Smart Medical Special Zone ▲posting reviews of fam tours for supporters.
Anyone interested in Yeongdeungpo and the Smart Medical Special Zone, such as university students, office workers, foreigners, and international students who actively operate SNS platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Weibo, can apply.
A total of 40 teams will be recruited, and individuals can also participate.
To apply, download the application form and other documents from the Yeongdeungpo-gu website or the official Smart Medical Special Zone website, and submit them via email to the person in charge (happyar141@ydp.go.kr). The selection results will be individually notified on the 19th.
The final selection will be made through document screening, considering various aspects of individual capabilities such as possession of personal SNS accounts, account activity and content creation ability, experience in promotional work, and aspirations for activities.
The selected supporters will begin their activities with an inauguration ceremony held this month and continue until December.
The district will conduct workshops and training to strengthen the supporters’ promotional capabilities and provide a modest activity allowance based on the number of content productions and postings as well as adoption by the district’s official SNS.
Additionally, outstanding performers in annual activities will be selected and awarded.
Following the designation of the ‘Smart Medical Special Zone’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2017, the district signed business agreements with 10 specialized medical institutions in 2018, and since 2020 has been operating official SNS channels such as Weibo and Facebook for the Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone, accelerating domestic and international promotion of the smart zone.
Chae Hyun-il, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, “The Smart Medical Special Zone SNS Supporters’ activities will be a great opportunity to fully demonstrate one’s abilities throughout the entire process of planning, producing, and posting content,” and added, “We hope for active participation from talented individuals interested in Yeongdeungpo medical tourism and equipped with promotional skills.”
