[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Amid continuous heavy rain centered in the central region, a series of radio DJs were late due to worsening traffic conditions.

On the morning of the 6th, on KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' broadcaster Jo Woo-jong replaced Park Myung-soo for the opening. Jo Woo-jong said, "Seoul is in chaos right now. Park Myung-soo left an hour earlier than usual but still hasn't arrived."

Five minutes later, Park Myung-soo appeared and said, "I've been doing radio for 15 years, and this is the first time I've been late. This has never happened before. It shouldn't happen, but there was no way around it," adding, "I thought Seoul's traffic situation was like an American movie. It was a total mess."

Earlier that day, a similar incident occurred on SBS PowerFM's 'Kim Young-chul's PowerFM.' Due to traffic congestion, Kim Young-chul was unable to arrive at the broadcasting station on time and conducted the opening via cellphone on the road.

Kim Young-chul said, "Does my voice sound different than usual? I left 20 minutes earlier because of the rain, but unexpected problems arose. It's truly a traffic disaster. It's raining heavily, cars are backed up, my mind is anxious, and I feel like I'm going crazy," asking listeners for their understanding.
