[Asia Economy Reporter Joselgina] SK Telecom stated regarding the timing of initial public offerings (IPO) of its subsidiaries such as One Store, ADT Caps, and SK Broadband, "We plan to actively proceed with the companies that are ready first."
On the 6th, Ha Hyung-il, head of SK Telecom's corp2 center, said during a conference call held after the Q2 earnings announcement, "We are considering IPOs of major companies including One Store, ADT Caps, Wave, SK Broadband, and 11st."
Ha explained, "We are actively reviewing in a way that benefits shareholders by considering both the individual companies' performance and the financial market environment," adding, "Currently, each investment company is establishing its IPO plan."
Meanwhile, SK Telecom, the first among the three major domestic telecom companies to announce Q2 earnings, recorded sales of 4.6028 trillion won and an operating profit of 359.5 billion won on a consolidated financial statement basis. This represents increases of 3.7% and 11.4% respectively compared to the same period last year, exceeding market expectations.
