Partial Closure of Gwangju Seobu Police Station Building... Visit by High Fever Patient

According to the Western Police Station on the 5th, four criminal investigation department staff members came into contact with a suspected COVID-19 patient the previous day, resulting in the temporary closure of the criminal investigation department's duty room and quarantine of the staff in the duty room.

At around 7:30 PM the previous day, A (34, female), a Vietnamese national who visited for victim investigation, was measured with a body temperature of about 38℃ and was transferred to Chonnam National University Hospital. At Chonnam National University Hospital, her temperature was confirmed to be 37.1℃, but a COVID-19 test was conducted as a precaution.

A, who is hearing impaired, reportedly visited with an interpreter and two companions on that day.

The test results are expected to be released by the morning of the same day.

If A tests negative, the quarantine of the criminal investigation staff and the closure of the duty room will be lifted; if positive, all staff members will undergo COVID-19 testing.
