After land preparation work such as field clearing and waste disposal, a walking trail is created... Rest facilities installed to provide residents with a relaxation space, LED park lights installed along the trail
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) completed the creation of a neighborhood hill park near the Kkotdongnae area in Ssangmun-dong last month, allowing residents to easily visit, relax, and take walks.
The site for the neighborhood hill park project (Ssangmun-dong San 249, San 264) was originally an area difficult for residents to access and use as a park due to illegal farming and unauthorized dumping.
Accordingly, the district secured a budget of 1.6 billion KRW from Seoul City and carried out ground preparation work such as clearing farmland and waste disposal, followed by the construction of walking trails.
Additionally, rest facilities were installed to transform the space so residents can relax in a pleasant environment.
Furthermore, LED park lights were installed along the walking trails to ensure safe park use during nighttime walks. In the future, CCTV will also be installed to provide an even safer park environment for residents.
Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu stated, “We will continue to promote park development projects targeting residential areas adjacent to Choansan and Dooly Ssangmun Neighborhood Parks, increasing healing spaces where residents can rest nearby, and strive to improve the green space ratio.”
