Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation Holds the 2nd 'JB Youth YouTuber Contest'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-gu) announced on the 4th that it will hold the "2nd Our Economic Story JB Youth YouTuber Contest (UCC)" until the 11th of next month.

The "Our Economic Story JB Youth YouTuber Contest (UCC)" was prepared to provide a platform for youth of the YouTube generation to increase their interest and understanding of economics by creating and utilizing UCCs on economic concepts from social studies and economics textbooks, and to actively participate in economic activities.

This contest is open to middle and high school students in the province and youth of the same age group. Teams can produce UCCs using economic concepts from middle and high school social studies and economics subjects and submit them by the 11th of next month.

The grand prize will be awarded to one team with a certificate of commendation from the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation and a scholarship of 1 million won. Two teams will receive the excellence award with 500,000 won each, and three teams will receive the merit award with 300,000 won each. The contest results will be announced individually in October.

Kim Young-gu, Chairman of the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation, said, "The contest judging will focus on the creativity and effort of the youth," and added, "The foundation plans to continue various projects that allow youth to actively participate, not only contests, so we hope many middle and high school students in the province will participate."
