[Breaking] Iran Records Highest Number of COVID-19 Critical Patients... About 200 Deaths Daily

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] On the 4th (local time), according to the Iranian Ministry of Health, the total number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 was reported to be 4,132. This is the highest figure since the related statistics were first announced in March.

Since the number of critically ill patients in Iran is directly linked to the death toll, COVID-19 related deaths are expected to continue for some time.

In the past ten days, Iran has recorded an average of 213 deaths per day.

As of the 4th, the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in Iran stands at 17,617.
