Invitation to the Forest Performance at Sejong Center Chamber Hall on the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Seoul Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts will hold a special performance to pray for overcoming the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) titled "Invitation to the Forest" on the 8th at the Chamber Hall of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
"Invitation to the Forest" is a chamber music concert presented by the Seoul Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra for the first time in three years since 2017. They will perform eight pieces mainly selected by the orchestra members. In particular, the members of the Seoul Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra are participating in this concert as a talent donation without any appearance fee, expressing their desire to contribute to overcoming COVID-19.
This performance, themed "Comfort" and "Healing," carries a message to support artists who have lost their stage in the stagnated performance industry due to the spread and continuation of COVID-19, as well as citizens living their lives in their own spaces and places, to warm their lives and share hearts together.
Both online and on-site audiences can voluntarily participate in donations through "Participate in Donations at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts." All the collected donations will be donated in the name of the Seoul Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra to the "Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association" to support medical staff responding to COVID-19.
The performance will be broadcast live on the Naver TV Sejong Center for the Performing Arts channel.
