[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Kim Young-eun (31), wife of professional baseball player Oh Ji-hwan (30, LG Twins), has taken action against malicious comments.

On the 30th, Kim Young-eun posted on her Instagram, "My husband did not want to file a lawsuit, so I endured it all this time. Since I am the wife of a well-known person, I thought I had to bear it and that following my husband's wishes was the right thing to do," signaling a firm response to the malicious commenters.

Kim Young-eun said, "I tried to ignore the dozens to hundreds of DMs (direct messages) I receive daily, thinking 'I just won't look, so it's okay.' I also publicly pleaded with those who crossed the line or continued to send malicious content by changing their IDs even after being blocked to stop. I thought 'it will get better,'" she confessed.

She added, "That was a wrong thought. I will no longer endure it. Many people have sent me collected malicious comments. I will file lawsuits along with the malicious comments I have gathered so far. There will be no leniency," and stated, "There are too many targets, so I will report them in batches of 1,000."

Earlier, Kim Young-eun revealed some of the DMs from malicious commenters through her Instagram story, saying, "Among countless DMs, I filtered out the continuous or unspeakable words to express it like this. I know ignoring is the answer, but it is very hard for me too."

Meanwhile, Kim Young-eun, who was Miss Korea Jeonbuk Jin in 2011, worked as a host for Lotte Home Shopping. In 2019, she registered her marriage with Oh Ji-hwan and gave birth to a son in September of the same year.
