[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actors Kim Bora (25) and Jo Byung-gyu (24) have ended their relationship after about a year and a half of dating.

On the 3rd, Kim Bora's agency Moment Entertainment stated, "After confirmation, Kim Bora has broken up with Jo Byung-gyu. They have decided to remain good senior and junior colleagues. Their busy schedules caused them to grow apart."

Kim Bora and Jo Byung-gyu developed a romantic relationship after co-starring in the drama SKY Castle. They confirmed their dating rumors in February of last year.

Jo Byung-gyu debuted in the entertainment industry in 2015 and appeared in works such as Donkkot, Lingerie Girls' Generation, and Dokgo Rewind. He gained recognition through SKY Castle and appeared in SBS's Stove League earlier this year. Recently, he was cast as the lead character So-moon in the OCN drama The Uncanny Counter.

Kim Bora began her career as a child actress in the 2004 drama Wedding and appeared in Joo-goon's Taeyang, Who Are You, The King Loves, and Buam-dong Avengers. After making a strong impression as Kim Hye-na in SKY Castle, she played the lead role in Channel A's Touch. She is currently appearing in MBC's cinematic drama SF8 series, Space Walker Joan.
