[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Soo-young, Mayor of Yangcheon District, visited the Sinjeong Underpass of Anyangcheon, which is at risk of flooding, on the 3rd to conduct an emergency inspection in preparation for the heavy rain concentrated in the central region.

As Typhoon No. 4 "Hagupit" moves northward, a large amount of water vapor is expected to meet the stationary front, bringing continuous heavy rain to Yangcheon District and other central regions. Accordingly, Yangcheon District is conducting emergency inspections of facilities in areas at risk of flooding or inundation and is strengthening patrols to minimize damage caused by the heavy rain, thoroughly implementing flood and wind disaster countermeasures.
