[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction will supply 3 Xi apartment complexes, totaling 3,283 households, in Susaek and Jeungsan New Towns in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
GS Construction announced on the 3rd that it will simultaneously sell 3 complexes in Susaek and Jeungsan New Towns. Jeungsan District 2 will be transformed into DMC Central Xi, Susaek District 6 into DMC Fine City Xi, and Susaek District 7 into DMC Art Foret Xi, respectively.
DMC Central Xi will be developed on a scale of 14 buildings, from 3 basement floors to 30 above-ground floors, with units ranging from 38 to 84㎡ (exclusive area), totaling 1,388 households (463 for general sale). DMC Fine City will be built with 15 buildings, from 3 basement floors to 30 above-ground floors, with units ranging from 39 to 84㎡, totaling 1,223 households (453 for general sale). DMC Art Foret Xi will be developed with 8 buildings, from 3 basement floors to 22 above-ground floors, with units ranging from 39 to 84㎡, totaling 672 households (307 for general sale).
These complexes border Sangam-dong in Mapo-gu, allowing residents to share the Sangam living area. In particular, various commercial and convenience facilities near Digital Media City Station and Susaek Station are accessible, and convenient infrastructure is provided with access to Subway Line 6, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and Airport Railroad.
The model houses for the three complexes will be unveiled virtually through the official Xi and each complex’s websites and the Xi smartphone application. Additionally, videos explaining floor plans and subscription eligibility requirements will be released on the YouTube channel ‘Xi TV’.
GS Construction plans to conduct model house tours by lottery among subscription applicants from the 16th to the 25th. Notably, the model houses will feature ‘Xibot,’ a robot guide introduced for the first time in the industry by GS Construction, which will provide information on the complex overview, layout, floor plans, and model house spaces. This non-contact promotion aims to enhance customer safety amid the novel coronavirus COVID-19 and offer various services. Xibot is equipped with a touch monitor, allowing customers to immediately check any inquiries.
All three complexes will announce their resident recruitment notices on the same day, with special supply applications on the 13th and first-priority (local) subscriptions on the 14th. The announcement of successful applicants will be on the 26th. Since the announcement date is the same, duplicate subscription applications are not allowed. The average sale price for these complexes is 19.92 million KRW per 3.3㎡.
A GS Construction sales official stated, “All three complexes, including DMC Central Xi, have excellent location environments, and since all housing types are priced below 900 million KRW, mid-term loans are available, so high interest is expected from buyers dreaming of owning a home in Seoul. After the development of Susaek and Jeungsan New Towns is completed, approximately 10,000 households will form apartment complexes, so the regional value is expected to increase further after move-in,” he said.
The model houses are located in Deogeun-dong 273-2, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, with move-in scheduled for March 2022 for DMC Central Xi, July 2023 for DMC Fine City Xi, and February 2023 for DMC Art Foret Xi, respectively.
