100-Person Civic Group to Bridge Racial and Cultural Gaps and Promote Global Citizenship Awareness
Busan City and International Exchange Foundation Recruit Citizens, Foreign Migrants, and International Students Until the 23rd

Busan City and the Busan International Exchange Foundation announced on the 3rd that they are recruiting the "100 Busan Global Citizens" who can represent the global city of Busan in celebration of the 15th Busan Global Citizens Festival.

The recruitment targets are general citizens living in Busan, foreign residents, international students, and anyone who wishes to create a better global city Busan together through a proper global citizenship awareness without racial or cultural gaps.

Applications can be submitted from the 3rd to the 23rd on the Busan International Exchange Foundation website, and participants who have recently taken part in the foundation's programs may be given priority selection.

The inauguration ceremony for the 100 Busan Global Citizens will be held both online and offline simultaneously at the "Busan Global Citizens Festival" scheduled for the 13th of next month.

Starting with the inauguration ceremony, the citizen group will participate in various activities such as global citizenship lectures, global citizenship challenges, and video production until December. Additionally, an operating committee for the festival will be separately selected and operated from among the citizen group.

Jeon Hye-sook, Director of the Women and Family Bureau of Busan City, said, "Through the 100 Busan Global Citizens, we will spread global citizenship awareness in the global city of Busan."
