"Ideological Agitation Is a Noisy Confession of Having No Policy Alternatives" Claim
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized Joo Ho-young, floor leader of the Future United Party, who described the Moon Jae-in administration's real estate policy as "Marxist communism," saying, "He just can't stop with that red scare talk."
On the 2nd, Jin wrote on his Facebook, "Is there any modern capitalist country that does not have socialist elements?"
He continued, "Who treats owning two houses as a crime? Who taxes or confiscates criminal proceeds?" and pointed out, "Policy issues should be dealt with through policy, but they keep turning it into an ideological issue."
He added, "This is a phenomenon caused by all parties lacking proper ideologues (ideologies)," and claimed, "The money Yoon Hee-sook earned is ultimately all wasted by Joo Ho-young. Resorting to ideological agitation is, in short, a noisy confession of the fact that 'we have no policy alternatives to present.'"
Meanwhile, on the same day, Floor Leader Joo posted on his Facebook under the title "Constitutional destruction, the Republic of Korea is collapsing," stating, "Senior ruling party lawmakers are furious, saying 'Owning two houses is a crime,'" and argued, "The idea that all private ownership should be taken by the state is a bold social reform plan proposed by Karl Marx over 150 years ago, communism."
