Gucci Reveals 2020 Fall/Winter Advertising Campaign “The Ritual”
Italian luxury brand Gucci has launched a new advertising campaign titled ‘The Ritual,’ once again presenting the message of a reversed perspective that Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele aimed to convey through the 2020 Fall/Winter fashion show.
In Gucci’s ‘The Ritual’ campaign, the models themselves became the authors of the campaign, capturing everyday moments in their comfortable personal spaces. The result is a self-portrait that is authentic, deeply personal, and sincere.
Gucci’s models showcase various everyday moments such as knitting, gardening, sunbathing, brushing their teeth, relaxing on building rooftops, jumping on beds, spending time with pets, skateboarding on shiny wooden indoor floors, and enjoying darts. Although these are ordinary daily scenes, the campaign images convey a special and emotional atmosphere inspired by Gucci’s magical romanticism.

Christian Louboutin presents the new handbag collection Cabaraparis, capturing the essence of Paris, the house’s hometown and a long-standing source of inspiration.
Designer Christian Louboutin said, “Paris is my eternal muse. It is the most popular city in the world, boasting magnificent architecture.
Cabaraparis showcases the most fantastical elements of Paris.”
The Caba series has been completed through collaborations with outstanding artisans worldwide, including Mexico, Portugal, Manila, and Africa. For the fifth Caba series, Cabaraparis, Christian Louboutin collaborated with an artist for the first time since launching the Caba series. Working with his close friend and renowned illustrator H?l?ne Tran, they perfectly reflected the essence of their beloved city, Paris, in the handbag designs.
Cabaraparis Day, symbolizing Paris by day, begins with ‘Le Baiser de l’Hotel de Ville’ seen through Christian Louboutin’s lens. ‘Le Baiser de l’Hotel de Ville’ is one of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century, taken by Robert Doisneau, which helped establish Paris as the city of love worldwide.
Meanwhile, Christian Louboutin has pledged to donate to the fund ahead of the 2020 awards ceremony held in December as part of his support for this program.
