The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the country will continue to be affected by the north-south moving monsoon front today as well.

While most regions nationwide will experience occasional rain, precipitation amounts will vary by area. Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, and Gangwon Province will see intermittent rain with periods of calm.

By 9 a.m., southern Chungcheong and northern Jeonbuk are expected to receive heavy rain of 40-60 mm per hour, and Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk will experience strong rain around 30 mm per hour along with gusts, thunder, and lightning.

Except for inland Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk, the southern regions and Jeju Island will see rain stop around 9 p.m., but other areas will continue to have rain until the 30th.

Fine dust levels are expected to be at the 'Good' level nationwide.
