Shin Hyun-jun Sued for Defamation by Former Manager

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Actor Shin Hyun-joon has been sued for defamation by his former manager Kim.

According to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on the 27th, Kim filed a complaint with the police against Shin in the morning on charges of defamation by spreading false information.

Previously, Kim claimed that he had been subjected to abusive language, verbal abuse, and unfair treatment by Shin for 13 years. He also revealed that during the first two years of work, he received a monthly salary of 600,000 won and that the verbally promised 9 to 1 profit distribution was not properly fulfilled. On the 14th, he also reported to the police, requesting an investigation into suspicions that Shin illegally administered propofol around 2010.

Shin's agency responded, stating, "We will hold Kim, who is full of lies, as well as those who spread the false information he provides, legally responsible."
