Ssangyong Construction Wins Apartment Construction Contract in Anseong, Gyeonggi... Largest Scale Since Brand Launch

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Ssangyong Construction has secured a contract for an apartment construction project worth 290 billion KRW in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. The supply volume is 1,700 households. This is the largest-scale complex won by Ssangyong Construction in the metropolitan area since launching the 'The Platinum' brand.

Ssangyong Construction announced on the 27th that it had independently secured an apartment construction project worth approximately 290 billion KRW in Gungdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.

'Ssangyong The Platinum Anseong (tentative name)' will consist of 14 apartment buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, with exclusive areas of 59 to 139㎡, totaling 1,696 households. All units are planned to be sold to the general public. Since the launch of 'The Platinum' brand in 2018, this is the single complex with the highest number of general sale units supplied in the past two years.

As Ssangyong Construction's order performance this year has been favorable, it expects the general sale of this complex in the second half of the year to be 100% sold out.

A Ssangyong Construction official said, "Since all recent general sales have been 100% sold out, laying the foundation for the normalization of the housing business, we will expand housing supply under The Platinum brand and further enhance brand value." Construction of this apartment complex is scheduled to begin in October, with a construction period of 36 months.
