[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] The district unit plan has been revised to allow convenience facilities such as convenience stores and bakeries to be established in the new building of Gangnam Seongsim Hospital in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
On the 22nd, Seoul City held the 10th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee and announced on the 23rd that it had approved the amendment to the district unit plan for Gangnam Seongsim Hospital in Yeongdeungpo-gu.
The target site, Gangnam Seongsim Hospital, is located about 600 meters northwest of Shindaebang Station. In July last year, two buildings with six basement floors and seven above-ground floors received usage approval. The main change in this amendment is to include the first-class neighborhood living facilities in the designated building use, which was previously limited to hospitals and educational research facilities among medical facilities.
A Seoul City official said, "With this district unit plan amendment, by providing spaces such as convenience stores and bakeries within the hospital, we expect to enhance the convenience for hospital visitors and patients."
