Seongbuk-gu Releases '2021 College Entrance Early Admission Strategy' for Examinees and Parents

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will provide the '2021 Early Admission Strategy Entrance Exam Briefing Session,' originally planned as a large-scale group lecture, as a free online lecture.

This is to alleviate the anxiety of local examinees and parents who are confused about obtaining desired entrance exam information due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures delaying the college entrance exam schedule.

The online early admission strategy entrance exam briefing session hosted by the district will be conducted by instructor Kim Chang-mook (teacher at Gyeongshin High School, University Admission Guidance Support Group).

The lecture is well-organized to convert mock exam scores into College Scholastic Ability Test scores, find universities that can be applied to, and analyze the admission guidelines and previous year's entrance exam results data.

Residents who wish to attend the lecture can refer to the 'Internet Broadcasting Station' on the Seongbuk-gu Office website or the Recruitment Lectures bulletin board under Seongbuk-gu Introduction → District News, or watch the video lecture directly through the Seongbuk Youth Future Support Center YouTube video link.

Additionally, Seongbuk-gu will operate a 1:1 early admission strategy consultation room at the Seongbuk Youth Future Support Center on August 17, 18, and 19.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the district office website starting at 2 PM on July 27. Detailed consultations by school type, department, and region will provide practical help in establishing customized support strategies.

A Seongbuk-gu official said, "We hope this briefing session will minimize the admission gap caused by the COVID-19 crisis and assist with the upcoming 2021 early admission process," and urged many interested parents and students to participate.
