[Photo] Launch of Nowon-gu All-day Care Project Team

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 22nd at 10:30 AM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the plaque unveiling ceremony of the Nowon District All-day Care Project Team held at the Nowon District Residents' Hall.

The Nowon District All-day Care Project Team is an intermediary support organization that establishes care linkage and cooperation between schools and communities.

The all-day care facility, which was previously operated directly by the district office, was entrusted to the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation starting from the 1st of this month. To ensure efficient operation, the office was relocated to the secretariat of the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation, where the plaque unveiling ceremony was held.

At the ceremony, about 50 attendees including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, the chairman of the Nowon District Council, local council members, heads of related organizations, and care institution workers participated. The event proceeded with guest congratulatory speeches, a report on the progress of the Nowon-type care initiative, the plaque unveiling, and a commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I appreciate the project team’s efforts to provide Nowon-type care that does not leave a single child behind, and I hope that the child-friendly Nowon-type care project will continue to be implemented solidly in the future.”
